<image:caption>Here’s a picture of a recent circuit I’ve been working on to trying to bring to life to emulate the magnetic field generated by magnetic card writers when swiped through (I hate carrying magnetic stripe cards because I can’t easily put them on a key ring). I’m considering drastically scaling up the current in a later version, but I would need to modify the circuit with an amp and probably some higher gauge wire (and insulation).</image:caption>
